Lyndsey & Jack's Rehearsal Dinner

I used to not see the value in shooting a rehearsal dinner but I have learned it can be

a great way to get to know all the bride and groom's family before the wedding.

It's just fun to be social and interact with the whole family the night before

and I think it really helps everyone to be comfortable taking pictures the next day.

Lyndsey & Jack's rehearsal dinner was a blast and got me really excited for the weddding!

These shots were all done with a Holga toy camera which uses film. The lens and everything else is made of plastic. Since I mostly shoot with a digital camera during weddings, it's nice to shoot a few with a completely manual camera where I have to trust my instincts without being able to see the results instantaneously.

Musicians

I love live music at weddings. I wish I could play an instrument and am always in awe of musicians. Here are some recent favorites of bands and string quartets.
